Context
Platmech was launching its brand in Ireland, focused on distributing heat pump systems to developers and commercial clients. The company needed a clear digital presence and visual identity that could quickly establish trust in a technical, high-investment category.
Challenge
Heat pump systems are complex and often poorly explained, while trust is critical for developers and commercial clients making long-term investment decisions. The added constraint was speed, with the brand and website needing to be developed quickly to support launch.
Approach
The project began with the website as the primary vehicle for both brand and communication, enabling rapid development without separating identity and digital design into different phases.
Information was structured to prioritise clarity for a professional audience, breaking down how heat pump systems work and how they are specified and installed into accessible, easy-to-navigate sections. The goal was to support confident decision-making while reducing friction in understanding a complex product.
The visual language was kept deliberate and functional, with subtle use of colour to reinforce the product itself. A transition between cool and warm tones reflects the heating and cooling capability of the systems, supporting the message without becoming a dominant design feature.
Outcome
The result is a clear, credible foundation for a new brand, delivered at speed, combining identity and digital experience to support understanding, trust, and early-stage growth.
